The "Career" C is all about providing challenging and meaningful work with opportunities for advancement, if desired. Most of your employees want to do new things in their job. Think about job rotation, more challenging goals, increased accountability, self-directed work. Challenge your teams but instill the confidence that the challenges can be met. This also speaks to providing the knowledge and tools to be successful because creating expectations without providing the tools leads to stress, frustration, and a lack of engagement.
