The "Convey" C is about setting clear expectations. It’s about providing timely and relevant feedback about employee performance. Effective engagement requires that you establish processes and procedures to help employees master important tasks and help facilitate the achievement of goals. Do you keep updated records/files on each of your team? Do you attempt to customize your approach when dealing with a direct report? Do you take note of improvements and trouble spots and convey them to your team? Do you try to create small wins and share them?
